October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is abnormal cells growing within the breast. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women. Breast cancer screening is so important because early detection starts treatment early. Women, please consult your primary care provider to discuss your next screening for breast cancer.
