December is Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) Awareness Month. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) occurs during the winter months due to the lack of daylight, and it's a real medical diagnosis. Individuals with SAD can experience many symptoms like:

* Feeling hopelessness

* Decrease energy and fatigue

* Changes in sleeping and eating habits

* Thoughts of death or suicide or suicide attempts.

If you or someone you know is experiencing any of these symptoms, PLEASE consult your primary care provider. SAD is REAL!!
