Health Tips 5-17-26

May is Older American Month (OAM).  The Administration for Community Living established the recognition in 1963 as a time to recognize older Americans' contributions, highlight aging trends, and reaffirm commitments to serving older adults in our communities. "Champion Your Health" is the theme, which encourages older adults to advocate for themselves, accessing preventive care, and making informed decisions that support independence.  How can you take charge of your health at every age? Stay up to date on prevent care and screenings. Choose nutritious, minimally processed foods. Incorporate regular physical activity and practice mental health well-being.  (excerpt taken from acl.gov)
