May is Stroke Awareness Month. May is dedicated to educate the public regarding the signs and preventions of strokes. The acronym B.E.F.A.S.T is to help determine if you are having signs of a stroke quickly. B- Balance, problem walking or loss of balance. E- Eyes, sudden change in your vision. F- Face, drooping or numbness on your face. A- Arm, weakness. S-Speed, problem slurred speak or hard to understand words. T-Time, call 911, ASAP if you or a loved one is displaying these signs.
