Health Tips 6-16-2024

June is Men's Health Awareness Month. This month encourages treatment, early detection, and prevention of male health issues like prostate cancer, heart disease, and diabetes just to name a few. Often, men will not seek medical treatment until the illness is out of control. This month, we urge men to have the recommended health screenings for their age, and let's not forget mental health issues. When health issues get diagnosed later, the treatment can have a poor prognosis. Men, do yourself and loved ones a favor by making an appointment with your PCP to have the necessary screenings completed.
